How to get a 4 or 5 at Foundation GCSE Maths

So how do you get them?  On average, to get a 4, you need to score around 67%, and for a 5, around 80%.  Thats an average (or mean) over all 3 papers.

So, you must attempt every question! You will not lose marks for wrong answers, but you cannot score marks for blank answers.  You need every mark you can get on each of the 3 papers.  So, if in a 4 mark question, you can only do a small step, you may still acquire 1 mark – that may be crucial in the final count up, please do not leave it blank because you can’t answer it fully.

There’s still plenty of time for help and support in maths content and exam technique.
