Getting PASSed those GCSE exams

The biggest question many parents and pupils struggles with is whether Foundation or Higher level gives the best chance of getting a 4 or 5.

Foundation level allows the obtaining of grades 1 to 5, Higher level allows 3 to 9.

To gain a grade 4 on a Foundation paper, you typically need 65 to 70% overall, with a grade 5 needing around 80%.

On Higher papers you need a lot less marks but the questions are harder/more complicated and if you attempt with a foundation level knowledge of maths, you may not achieve a 4.

For every learner that comes through JV Tuition we will assess which is the better route for you and always work with your school to try and ensure you get your pass.
